Montserrat stands out for its conglomerate rock formations, the result of millions of years of erosion. Its stone needles and monoliths create a unique landscape that attracts hikers and climbers.

The park is home to a rich variety of flora and fauna. Among the plant species, there are holm oaks, pines, and Mediterranean shrubs, while the wildlife includes wild boars, squirrels, eagles, and wild goats.

  • Hiking and Sports:
There are numerous hiking trails, such as the Sant Jeroni trail (the highest point of the mountain at 1,236 meters) and other routes that allow visitors to discover hidden hermitages and breathtaking viewpoints.

  • Cultural and Religious Heritage:
The Monastery of Montserrat, founded in the 11th century, is an important pilgrimage site, where the Virgin of Montserrat, known as "La Moreneta", is venerated. The monastery also houses the Escolania de Montserrat, a renowned boys' choir with a long musical tradition.
